When I visited in 2007 I met the autonomous vehicle team here, and it wasn't lost on me that my car drove most of the way from my home to Stanford today. Today was no different, Marcelo Moyano and I are editing the videos and will get them up soon.

Irena and I define spatial computing as computing that humans, virtual beings, or robots can move through. It's a big tent with the two biggest members AR and VR. To me this lab is the center of this kind of work being done around the world.

Always liked that the bldg built by a software tycoon is on the campus built by a railroad tycoon. 100 years from now a virtual confab will emerge from the Gates building at Stanford grown by a telepathy tycoon.
