Will Deja vu allow to boot cfw without RCM?
-
-
-
Yes.
-
I'm probably going to sound dumb here, but does that mean it will work with rcm patched switches? Sorry for my ignorance, but I never seem to be able to find information on patched switches and potential exploits. Awesome work you've done though, thanks you :)
-
Well, 1 one it doesn’t patch rcm it patches out the payloads, and 2 yes since it is a software exploit it will work with any switch, patched or not.

Will we be able to install 8.0+ to Emunand when that's a thing, or is 7.0.1 as far as we go?
-
emuNAND should work fine *for now* unless they do some incredible fuckery in a future update (re: TSEC and such) from what Scires has posted it's just bugfixes, they didn't update TSEC keys or do any shenanigans
-
(this assumes you can boot emuNAND, with CFW or privilege escalation like deja vu, same rules apply)
-
Ok, cool. Thanks!

So this will allow patched units to also boot cfw as long as they’re on <= 7.0.1 correct?
-
Yup.

Do you think it's the beginning of cfw like on 3ds?

For the record, currently 8.0.0 is NOT required to go online or use the eShop
-
Welp, so much for that
