I want to recommend the Polarised podcast from @theRSAorg again after seeing the fall out from @bbcquestiontime and @LozzaFox. The @guardian did what it predictably does & cried racism, etc. The Tweets below it's article are perfectly indicative of our polarised times...

We need to support those working to reduce polarisation and educate adults on how to engage in a more civilised and mature manner socially. Polarisation is evidence of our profound lack of means for adults to mature, develop, become smarter and gain thinking and emotional skills.

If we only see it polarisation as a consequence of social media, we're missing the bigger view dramatically. To expect adults to make well-informed, intelligent decisions and evaluation without a commitment to long-term, continuous, adult development is frankly stupid.

If we were to frame racism as fundamentally a form of ignorance, for example, & as something that education & learning addresses, we might change tactic from viewing it as its currently seen as a form of societal sin, & evil, to being a sign of a need for adult education.
