Dmitry Rogozin, head of Russia's space program, accuses NASA and SpaceX of price dumping, and will compensate by reducing its costs by 30 percent. "The pricing procedure we proposed is essentially our response to dumping from US companies.."https://tass.ru/kosmos/8215157

What's specious about these arguments is that no Russians or Europeans complained when ULA got far higher "subsidies." But now that SpaceX comes along with a commercial rocket far cheaper than competitors, it's suddenly totally unfair.

Or the fact that they also get subsidies... and much more than even ULA

Anti-competition sentiments are as old as business itself. “If you do it cheaper, you must be cheating. Don’t you worry about our form of institutional cheating; you’re innovating in a way we didn’t, no, couldn’t think of, so you’re being unfair!!”

Russians & Europeans need to stop & think. In a few years they will be out of market (except for a few local government contracts), unless they radically change their paradigm to replicate SpaceX major virtue: REUSABILITY That’s the game changer. They adapt or die.

SpaceX rockets are 80% reusable, theirs are 0%. This is the actual problem.
