What does that even mean?

As I understand it, there was some kind of code error that would have prevented thruster valves from opening had it not been caught. But I have not been able to get a clear explanation.

So they’re saying they could have had the same potential catastrophe if it had been a full length mission - just that the corrections would’ve been sent relatively earlier in the flight. A statement which does seem to miss the central point...

The “nothing to do with crew module reentry” is very disingenuous. Boeing’s latest statement says “What would have resulted from that is unclear”. ASAP says potential loss of crew module ... haven’t they now sim’d what would have happened?
