There are now ETFs that track the disclosed stock holdings of members of Congress and their spouses. The Dem ticker is symbol is NANC and the GOP symbol is KRUZ -- presumably in "honor" of Nancy Pelosi and Ted Cruz

In 2018, the New Yorker published a story about a Japanese company that hires actors to provide clients with surrogate family members. The story won a National Magazine Award, but it turns out key sources had fabricated much of the story.

This was around the time Hersh published an account of the Bin Laden raid in the London Review of Books that differed sharply from official accounts. Though it was subject to lots of skepticism, the eminent reporter Carlotta Gall and others published corroboration...

The crypto industry is at war with itself and the only guaranteed losers are its customers. The downturn sparked a torrent of lawsuits and legal threats between financiers who are scrambling to salvage what they can from the wreckage. DC is watching.

George Santos reported dozens of campaign expenses that were exactly one cent or one dollar below the $200 legal threshold for keeping receipts. This is a total statistical anomaly, i.e. extremely unlikely to occur by chance per a analysis

More than a game: Support of HBCU classics goes way beyond football. Wells Fargo served as the official banking sponsor of four games this fall.
