How credible is Sy Hersh?
The New Yorker stopped publishing his work in 2015. The insider view of this I gleaned in DC was basically that an institution with sound judgment had decided to cut loose someone who had become an old crank.

As with Hunter Biden's laptop and the Covid lab leak theory, purveyors of public discourse have been placing undue weight on the statements of institutional authorities.
