One question to determine if a FE dev is a great dev or not. React or Svelte? If you actually think a 30X faster compile time, 20X faster build time, built in state management, routing and DOM is not better, you are just stuck in your old React ways pal and cannot admit it.
Calling Cosmos developers. Question: Best IBC Cosmwasm oracle protocol? With Wasm launching on Defund, the only missing piece is off-chain data. Mixed with interqueries and large asset support, then any trading strategy is buildable on Defund in hours tops.

I'm curious. With roughly 95% of all volume on CEXs, even after FTX. Curious if DEXs will ever overtake CEXs in % volume and if so, what pushes that? Not gonna lie AMMs IMO are not going to push it there. They are retail exchanges. The super majority of volume is institutional.

I feel like there are more Cosmwasm chains coming out then Cosmwasm devs building protocols on them all. It should be interesting how each chain competes. Specifically general purpose. Way higher supply than demand at this point.
I'm tired of hearing "yOu CaNt BuiLd aN oRdErbOoK dEx oN ChAiN". That's so 2017 dude. You can totally build an on chain dex that is actually more efficient than off chain. It merely comes down to design.

Thanks to all validators for the extremely smooth upgrade to fix some issues. We are now seeing sub 600ms block times as we push Tendermint and Cosmos to the limit for our dETF builders. We know fast trade execution is so important for structured product builders. Happy trading!

Listen all I'm saying is wait until IBC relaying is entirely incentivized and relaying becomes an HFT contest circa the likes of 2008-2012. That's gonna be fun.
The second stage of the Orbit testnet is up and spitting blocks at an average speed of 1s per block. HQ to be up in a few days. Updates to come with instructions on building dETFs and bringing them over to Osmosis or 7 different EVM chains. The future is bright! 🌞

TBH I don't think we will know until emissions run out and the implications from that in 5-6 years show. There are very few protocols that have long term sustainable cash flows due to a major reliance on emissions.

1 - Had a shower thought yesterday that I've still been pondering: are all fee-dependent biz models a race to the bottom? This question is very relevant to crypto but it was actually an Uber One commercial that made me think of it. I'll explain more here in an impromptu 🧵👇

As my favorite professor used to say to me in Financial Analysis school, anyone can make money in the market, in fact during a bull market it's very easy. We are here to teach you how to not lose money. And that my friends, is the big difference.

Really thinking about starting up a validator for some chains I relay on using 100% decentralized software/cloud but does anyone else always battle with getting large instances of CPU/RAM/GB on Akash? Maybe can you help?
