I had fun drinking coffee, skateboarding, talking, and listening to music with people I hardly knew. Dave was like “check out my tattoos.” I also took photos with my film camera! I’m ready to drive back home. I’m going to hang out with my friend tonight

I met some cool skateboarders today at the skate park in Santa Fe. One of them asked if I wanted to skate with them and told me they had an extra skateboard in their car! First picture is Dave Johnson‘s hands with his tattoos.

The Navajo people should be asking the new administration for the comprehensive data to support their decision to lift the mask mandate. Was it a decision based on politics or the public health of the Navajo people? The reason why the Covid numbers have been relatively low

(1/1) what 2022 looked like for me. I covered my first election on the Navajo Nation to photographing a man driving through the parade in Gallup. 2022 has been a rough year. I wasn’t alone though. I got to experience all of this while carrying my son in my stomach.

It’s currently snowing in oak springs. The electricity keeps going out. Thank goodness we have enough woods for the stove to keep us warm. My little cousin Brandon gave me some beef stew for dinner. The roads were pretty bad this morning. A lot of accidents.
