when the temperatures differencial is not too hight, we perceive cold and hot like 2 very distint perception, but it seems that the sensory os maybe encoded in the DNA, at really low level, we know that we should stay in a neutral range where temperature outside is not enought

not enought to become an input from themoception, and I think we all know intuitively that the feeling of hot and cold, are both leading to not a temperature reading with an intensity increasing with the difference between out env on the skin, and in ref tht kept @ hardcoded val

but reasing in hot temperature, and cooler, and reaching the danger threshold where the thing we touch can be dangerous and burn the skin, or is already burning flesh since precious nanosecond delay betwen dmgs & percepton o pain&+hot obj. at this difference°C feeling become pain

the last sensor in network ovrt the skin, and playing a role in the global feeling that we call tactile sensation on skin. I'll be quick here, these are nocicepteurs sensors, deep in the skin, activated by somme triggers that are felt as painful.

Being bite gently by playing dog, and you will feel pain only if the max is pressing enought of teeth to risk if pressure raise again , to pierce throughskin, and the painfulness of the biting will increase an become long lasting activated if the skin is damaged near the sensor

One you have no difficulty telling withou your eyes in the equation, how many points pressured on forearm and their estimated (roughtly) distance from each other. Then the more interesting thing, you'll tel your friend to now decrease progressivel space netween the two pens

I'll spoil you but if you are not some strange shit that turn more pressure sensor in your skin,or less and 2cm between points were already for yu not segregated without a look at the arm. you should with closedeye & nocheating , reach a point where suddently you don't feel 2 pen

For a total fooling of the sensorial input it's really more effective if you push them in the skun with less space than the than the sensors resolution on the arm, if you puy one tip then the other, you will trigher further press sensor by stretching skin a little thrn 2 landing

It"s about 1cm for most people, than toutching is not precise enough excepted he hand and the tip of fingers, that have a resolution so good that blind man are teached how to read by describing y tactile input only from a finger sliding on thtext made of little dots bumping

they can witn gōd spēd when usd 2 ths method reading withou sēing, count number dots tht was under finger,& also the position of each point in the two collumns. Finger tips are probably tje only part of the skin with a sensor so fine that 1mm space enough to feel separated bumps
