OMG, what settings did you use?
We don't turn on auto focus at the moment - as the camera focuses, its lens geometry changes, and we want to make sure this doesn't negatively impact 3D reconstruction. We hope to enable it soon though!

For now, try getting at least one view of the object from a bit further away (at least 0.5m or 20 in). We'll automatically use the sharpest views for texturing.
