Thanks for the suggestion! The latest version of Scaniverse (1.2.5) adds support for volume button start/stop and selfie sticks. Let us know what you think!

@Scaniverse this was working great in 1.2.5 but the 1.2.6 update broke it for me :( pressing volume buttons just changes device volume, but does not start recording
