Well I wont, Dr Who died after Hell Bent. Everyone knows that. I watch DW now in the same way people put on a radio at work.

Then maybe you should leave discussion of who the new Doctor is to people who actually like the show.

As a mother of sons I think it's good for them as well to see a female as such a high profile character. And as a fan I'm really excited.

As the mother of nobody at all I'm pleased that more of my fellow humans will get to see themselves positively represented on TV :-)

She could be a better actor than Brando and I wouldn't care. The character is male. Not misogyny, not sexism, just valid, permitted opinion.
