If people like you and me all join together and become a new kind of family?! I used to love the concept of heaving a rainbow family. 1/2

Sorry to hear this, it was just love that brought you here, and most people understood very little about population growth, so it does not help to blame. Finding good mentor's may be in your interest.

Time will tell how I will come out of this. Right now I am so overwhelmed with everything. And the shit society demands that I function, order the funeral, do the burocratic duties..and at the same time I don' even know how to eat or sleep...

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I hope your boyfriend is a good guy--so important to have someone good close in your life right now!! Please DM if you ever just need a caring stranger to chat with or vent to. I hope somehow you manage to find some peace at this awful time.

Thank you for finding such good words, even close friends often have difficulties to do so! And thanks for offering me your 'ear', might still pm you. Luckily bf is a really good guy, I trust him and we've gone through many things together in the past 11 years.

Hi. I feel you, I also have no family. They’re still alive though, but they haven’t been a part of my life in 15 years, and before that they were abusive and neglectful so it’s safe to assume it’s just as if they were dead. It’s an awful feeling . Hugs

That's really terrible and painful to read, I had at least caring parents who really tried their best (but failed in the end)...I think it's often better to leave the family behind and find a 'family' by choice
