In this thread, you’ve advocated for cancer patients using homeopathy instead of proven therapy. You are either willfully ignorant or malicious.

A study of 1.9 million people determined that those who relied on "complementary"treatments had a two-fold greater risk of death from cancer as compared to those who did not use any complementary medicine. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamaoncology/article-abstract/2687972 …

Those who relied Solely on alternative treatments. Those of us in
#Naturopathic Oncology do not suggest this. Funny how the headlines fail to mention this important fact. Nor the study actually measuring those who did integrative therapy.5 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

"Those of us in Naturopathic Oncology do not suggest this." I know you don't
@DRPaulND but there are those, including possibly some on this thread that do. And I hope you call them out if you see this behaviour.1 reply 0 retweets 6 likes -

He's also incorrect. I've documented examples of "naturopathic oncologists" who do EXACTLY that. I've also had to try to save patients after a naturopathic oncologist t rated them with snake oil only and their cancer progressed.

If you'd both like to know I just talked a woman who discovered a breast lump into getting a conventional workup. I will likely be comanaging her care with her Allopathic oncologist.

You will be the “multiply times one” in that equation at best.

Skeptical logic demonstrates itself yet again. The responsible Naturopathic Doctor must be an outlier. His knowledge of the profession is superior to mine, yet his assessment that his approach is typical must be wrong because I know better.

There are no responsible naturopathic doctors. At best they are educated lay persons benefiting from the existence of a bogus degree to gain patient access.

A little clean up: 1) “holistic” is not the territory of naturopaths 2) most physicians, especially those in FM, PCP and pediatrics, strive for a holistic approach to pats 3) holistic vs allopathic dichotomy is artificially created & nurtured by naturopaths for marketing purposes
