🤔rapid response in BMJ to SWEPIS study: “The study was stopped early owing to an erroneous calculation and interpretation of statistical significance in relation to one of many secondary outcomes. The results are thus not reliable”.

Dutton claimed, in Parliament, that 250 fires were started by arsonists The AFP concluded (and you can google the report yourself) that precisely ZERO of the megafires were caused by arson A functional democracy is impossible when politicians face no accountability for lying

Rule one of holding politicians to account : when a politician lies, don’t turn it into a headline, thereby creating the false impression that it is truthful and legitimate information. Rule two, refer to rule one.

So we're all to work for a pittance, with crap conditions and no rights, while all the profits go to the rich. Then we're to pay tax, which the government passes on to the rich while we all fend for ourselves. And then we have to die early so as not to be a burden to the rich.

The Liberals accidentally declared a donation of $165,000 from Scotty’s mate who they’re about to hand a billion dollar visa privatisation contract to, and now claim the donation didn’t happen. Also, the tooth fairy visited me this morning to introduce me to her pet unicorn.

A decade or so ago the IPA was mostly awful, but at least it’s focus was on ac to al libertarian guff, and had some decent people working there. Now it is just a climate-change denying looney bin with no one of any regard

I reckon I could run 10 Little Athletics clubs for $500k. Morrison is going to have to explain pronto why a club in his electorate got half a million and where that money ended up - specifically! 😳

BREAKING: While $20,000 is a slap on the wrist for , this is a huge win for the community who exposed Adani’s illegal actions and held them to account. Adani’s criminal behaviour damages the reputation of companies who work with them .

Call me old school, but I would have thought forging public documents might be a crime the AFP would pursue, but they've decided to drop their investigations against Angus Taylor and Josh Manuatu. Maybe they have other priorities, such as raiding Union offices…

If someone with no power from a poor background committed a crime, the police wouldn’t just shrug and walk away. The AFP’s decision not to investigate Angus Taylor STINKS to high heaven. Off the hook because he’s IN THE GOVERNMENT. Wow. Speechless 😶

Former fire chiefs have written to the prime minister warning that a royal commission into bushfires will fail unless it puts climate change front and centre.
