  7. 1 in 4 of us will need blood at some point in our lives. Great news that the campaign group has been successful in securing changes, announced by the government this morning to move to an individualised risk-based blood donation policy.

Well done for speaking out. Of course there is a power imbalance between distributors and recipients of aid, making consensual sexual relationships impossible. They should be banned.

  18. It’s not me you need to speak to but some of the most vulnerable on the planet - and your donors. Explain to them why you don’t have zero tolerance of sexual relations between aid workers and beneficiaries because of the inherent power imbalance.

    Undo
  19. Hmmm, how would you know if it was exploitative? I would argue that it is virtually impossible for an aid worker & beneficiary to have a relationship without the very obvious power imbalance being an issue. Why take the risk? Instil zero tolerance of all sexual relations
