Hey @NRA when I was a pediatric resident a four year old came in after his cousin accidentally shot him. It took me a little while to realize that the pink stuff sliding down the gurney's metal frame was his brain. Keeping kids safe is my job. I'll go in whatever lane I want.

It’s weird we have very few guns in the U.K and people hardly ever get shot , if only we could spot the connection

Thank you for all you do. I know doctors, nurses, paramedics tried valiantly to save my daughter’s life when her ex shot her. I’ll never forget.

This made my heart drop like a stone. I'm so sorry.

“consulted no one but themselves” ok but like. it’s a journal for physicians, by (researchers and) physicians? who would they consult?
-
Pretty sure the NRA was saying they should have consulted the NRA. Certainly not the gunshot victims. Maybe the shooters?

I keep thinking about all the rehabilitation that the survivors will face - countless operations, and visits to physical therapists - let alone the psychological issues a survivor of violence experiences. The NRA should help offset this cost - they have lots of money, no?
