This is not a civil war, President Biden. If Afghans did not want to leave “earlier”, the scenes we have seen recently speak otherwise. The U.S. had every right to leave Afghanistan, but for the sake of the Afghan people, allow them to seek asylum in peace.

Under current support for Taliban seems responsible. Biden is right when he said why should American troops fight a war that Afghan troops don't want to themselves.

I truly feel for your country but why could the army not stand up and fight for a democratic govt? Could the training have been poor? Sure. But what kind of training did the taliban receive?
