Reliable source tells me Kabul will “not fall”. There will be “orderly transition” that the Govt is working on. Amplified intl troop presence is to assist with evacuation but also to ensure “orderly transition”. A possible date for this may be August 19 (Afghan Independence Day)

It's called surrender to the Taliban. If true it's because there are a lot of countries with personnel in the capital and the Taliban is letting them out. We'll see though. Not exactly getting the vibe the Afghan Gov there has any semblance of credibility/organization.
