It’s mind boggling really. The one thing - the only thing keeping Afghanistan from thriving is security. Everything else is ripe for economic/social growth. A young & capable workforce, a strategic location, ample foreign direct investment opportunities, etc. Let us move forward.

Well, for example, Passport Directorate in Kabul is fairly safe, I seen Police taking THOUSANDS of Afghanis out of their pocket. Central Post Office (had my work not done, when I asked people why they said guy was waiting for a bribe). Provincial HQ of Kbl, Herat, Nangarhar etc

That's the complete opposite of what is to be done. If corruption is reduced security can be managed easily.
