Around 20% of cases require hospitalization, 5% of cases require the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and around 1% require very intensive help, with items such as ventilators or ECMOs. These are types of equipment that are not only expensive but impossible to obtain.
And for those wondering what they can do personally: enact social-distancing as much as possible. Every day that there isn’t social distancing, these cases grow exponentially. We must take this seriously.
