Collins was hired as a Senate intern at 21 by her now husband, Thomas Daffron, a GOP insider. He encouraged her to run, ran her campaigns, got her choice appointments, and ran her PAC which collects big $ not from Maine. She follows Mitch McC and the GOP, not people of Maine.
