McConnell hates women and loves their abusers is the only reason I can come up with for why he would block this law.
26 years ago today, the Violence Against Women Act was signed into law. Last year, Mitch McConnell blocked the vote to renew this critical law that protects women from domestic violence and abuse. It's time for the Senate to do its job and reauthorize VAWA.
