Voting by mail IS absentee voting.

It's a numbers fetishism thing, he can't deal with sharing election dates with other presidents, he needs to stand out all by himself. Go figure dude even skips funerals because of jealous of the attention the dead person gets.

Not if the post office is deliberating being squeezed into very delayed deliveries. Which it is.

Trump, his entire family, and everyone close to him votes by mail.

The real danger is a perfect catastrophe of administrative overload, postal delays and voter error that could lead to millions of absentee ballots not counting.
