I think it is far more realistic that DC residents and businesses will become part of Maryland and the federal district will be shrunk to include only a small portion of current DC.

There are some terrible, money sucking Post Offices, most notably the one at 14th & M NW in DC. Dump those and pay attentions to the ones, like that at 14Th & U NW, where people actually work and know what they're doing. Postal patrons are paying for way too much featherbedding.
