Collins was hired as a Senate intern at 21 by her now husband, Thomas Daffron, a GOP insider. He encouraged her to run, ran her campaigns, got her choice appointments, and ran her PAC which collects big $$ -not from Maine. She does what the GOP tells her, not the people of Maine.
