    This is the third ring I have found in a pellet, the first one was a Siskin ringed in England and the second was a Sand Martin ringed in France so worth checking!!!!

  4. I see the grad school rejection emails are hitting now and a lot of my friends are having a hard time. It's good to feel the full range of human emotions, including sadness, so take time to relish in being human by being sad. After that, delete the email and keep it pushin!!!

    Excited to see the second chapter on my dissertation online in ⁦⁩! This paper describes my biggest experiment: 6 monarch butterfly populations from around the globe reared on 6 milkweed species. Stay tuned for more from this system!

    Grad students tend to be high performers who are hard on themselves, so I think it’s always worth noting that making mistakes is a critical part of the learning process. If you don’t make errors you don’t end up w the tools to recognize & fix them
