Gift cards to what? Why would any gun owner turn their legal gun in for a gift card vs selling for cash at a gun shop?

Remember that "No questions asked" part? People can steel guns to turn in for cash, use it to dispose of evidence of a crime, or turn in busted guns that would only net them $20 at a gun shop and come out ahead
No shit what a bunch of pussy . Fuck a gift card. Give me back my bullets

How many gangsters sold their guns back? 😂😂😂 C’mon San Diego PD, real street cops know this isn’t going to accomplish anything 😂😂😂 Your admin is a joke and out of touch just like 99% of police brass.

Well All that are responding are not doing anything to help make things, safer so your comments are worthless drivel.Try doing something that will help instead criticizing a program that may just help save a life. I applaud the efforts.Thank you San Diego Police Department.⚘

If it actually WOULD save lives we wouldn't criticize. Since it's costly theater which may make it much harder to catch murderers, (remember that "no questions asked? A criminal can turn in a stolen crime gun & prevent it serving as evidence.) We'll mock all we want
If I had known I could sell my Daisy B.B. Gun for $150, I would have!
