My heart is broken for the children and their families in St. Louis who have had their lives forever changed for the worse.
#MoLeg, we can and must do better to address the epidemic of gun violence killing Missourians.

"The middle school math and science teachers at Momentum Academy teach their classes in four schools at once."
This is an important, and horrifying, article. Worth noting: Missouri has the second-lowest starting teacher salary in the country.

This is horrifying. It isn't just COVID—it's opioids, suicides, car accidents, loneliness, and a bunch of other things I'm sure I'm missing.
Blaming MO's leadership for all of it isn't fair, but when it comes to suicides and healthcare access, that does, in part, fall on them.

I recognize like everyone else that there's not much to be optimistic about in politics these days, but I really do think—with the right candidates, running against some truly bad people—there's still reason to be hopeful.

What happened today in Texas is an unspeakable tragedy.
We cannot allow this to keep happening. We have to find a way to make things better. We have to do more to keep guns out of the hands of violent criminals. We need to act.

These sorts of articles frighten me—malware and online threats are the next frontier of warfare and terrorism, and we've got to do more to prepare ourselves for it.
As a country, we're not nearly as ready for this as we should be.

I'm honored to be the newest candidate on the Renew America Movement's watchlist. Our country needs leadership that will uphold our democratic principles. I've always been a staunch advocate for protecting democracy and the rule of law, and that's what I'll continue to do in D.C.

Today marks the 80th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor and the 80th anniversary of our entry into WWII. Fewer veterans of the War are still with us—the youngest are now 94 years old. But we cannot and should not forget the sacrifices this generation made for our country.

6 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s or dementia. That number could reach 14 million by 2050 — 2.5x the population of MO.
An Alzheimer’s vaccine could be a blessing for millions of seniors and their families.

This is one of the hardest but most important warnings for us today. Perpetrators were ordinary people. They accepted an ideology that rationalized and promoted hatred & evil. It became their everyday live. This is the scary part of the story.

People want to believe that only monsters commit mass abuses & atrocities. But it’s actually ordinary people, “just doing their jobs” and “just following orders”, who make horrors happen.

With the Cardinals signing a big name like Matt Wieters, it's worth considering that over the past 10 seasons, Yadier Molina has caught ~77% of STL's innings.
Compare that to other teams' primary catcher for each of those seasons, and it's an enormous gap.
