Just today, random apps like Amazon are crashing when launched. The app will work when re-installed, then crash when closing and launching again. Other apps are working fine. Examples of crashing apps - Amazon, ESPN. Working apps - Netflix, Facebook.

Hi! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Please remove the Webview Update and then restart the phone. Here are the steps: Go settings > apps > tap the three dots in the top right corner > show system apps > search for Android System WebView > select Uninstall updates. ^Nina

With my Galaxy device, I do not have the option to uninstall updates. I can even disable (button grayed). If I force stop the app, it does not resolve the issue.

It shows my WebView as disabled, and I can't enable it, there also aren't three dots showing for that app for me. But, my apps are all crashing, nothing works. Is there something I can do?

Try disabling and enabling chrome, but DON'T update it!! This solution should work for older phones!

Someone earlier recommended to disable and reenable Chrome, but just disabling it worked great for me....thanks tho dude:)

This is not good advice. If a user is on an Android version lower than 10 they'll need to uninstall updates to Chrome, not the Android System Webview.

Just do this and when you pull up the app just uninstall it. I did that and it worked!!!!
