the core question of economics is 'compared to what'. Compared to being alone on 4chan, it's good that those on the road to that kind of toxicity are in our community and get some kind of positive validation and socialization, and maybe we can be a true alternative.

Obviously if people are toxic and harassing other members, that needs to be addressed proportionally, but there is a real larger societal value to creating a healthy ecosystem of in person and online events in esports.
