Individuals, organizations and societies either decide to overlook interpersonal rigidity in those of exceptional talents, or they forgo them.

Of course interpersonal social excellence is itself an exceptional talent. Not mutually exclusive with other talents. And not cleanly mutually reinforcing. There is a seldom harvested dividend to tolerating the eccentrics.
