How did you develop it? It is hard to get away from Christian iconography when looking at Western art history.
I don't like (a) weird naked babies with wings, (b) people nailed to things or gorily shot with arrows, (c) obsession with a lady in a robe holding a baby. The entire religious aesthetic seems focused on the human body and bodily suffering and dirtiness and obsessive guilt.
I want to see beauty in my art. Not moralizing, not indignity, not wretchedness, not reminders of suffering.
Ubiquitous across much contemporary non-religious art too. Implied social or political messaging. Bug off with that and just make me a pretty picture.
