I don’t think blockchain technologies meaningfully evade govt control- the core of the tech is that every single transaction is permanently + publicly available. Ostensibly wallet addresses are anonymous, but in reality it’s easy for any motivated state agency to find out

1. There's little higher to aspire to even if it was as powerful, besides space. Elon is an extreme outlier here. What else would monied elites do besides what they do now? On top of that other social pressures due to the ability for information to be captured/ distributed...

That depends what individual and what quantity of money. I think the problem is the increase in political power you get with money is not linear. In most of the countries big money controls states policy who controls money. But common citizen has seen his power reduced
