Physics isn't a morality play. We wouldn't expect it to be. Why then do we expect this with our theories of psychology and sociology?

Our moral intuitions 1. have real content yet 2. have no reason to conform to [descriptions of] our minds and society? This appears to me either contradictory, or missing a qualifier, e.g. mind/society does not legibly conform.

If the latter, then the binary is not "conform or no?" (since real content does at least partially match reality), but "is accessible or no?".
