The NUG sidelined itself by not participating in talks hosted by other regional stakeholders and I'm certain it did so on US cue. NUG isn't the only puppet government in the world, but it probably is the only one acting shamelessly like one.
Sidelining the government of Afghanistan in the negotiations is a terrible mistake. Civil society and other progressive forces are marginalized already. No one is representing us. However, It is us, citizens of this country, who will pay the cost.

This is the government responsibility to raise their voice, not us and to ask, why they have been sidelined. The only thing we can do as a civil society to push them to get engage in intra-Afghan peace talks and represent AFGHANISTAN people by mean.
