Give us back women's loos for ALL women. (Cinema 1)

Why do women lose our space to men!? All women can use ladies loos. This isn't the USA.
-
Right hv asked some
@BarbicanCentre staff who say they pointed out that turning ladies into gender neutral loos was going to be a mistake. -
So dear
@BarbicanCentre bosses listen to your customers. Women hv enuf trouble with Q s without you imposing your politics. -
Or just Turn the gents into gender neutral loos. There's NEVER such a queue there & you know it. Thankyou.
-
Ah the irony of having to explain discrimination having just been to see I Am Not Your Negro IN YOUR CINEMA. (Great event btw) :)

.Thanks for the reply but there's no way this works fairly. Hope your bosses will see non binary commonsense & restore ladies loos.

-

Lack of adequate loos for women in public venues has long been a national scandal. Ashamed to see queues in theatres, St Pancras, Ascot....
-
Not sure why never been campaign 2 have legislation put this right. Maybe public schoolboy mindset in media/politics just thinks it's a joke
-
That's exactly it.

Agree wee-space is disproportionate but surely that's a issue of remodelling space not enforcing binaries?
-
a suspicious number of men are keen on 'not reinforcing the binary' - maybe that's because men are a danger to women & not vice versa.

-
Painful truth - a door with a
on will not stop men being violent towards women. As a genderqueer gender neutral space is where I feel... -
..safe. It's tricky this new world of toilet politics. Agree re: safe space but perhaps he reading of male could also be thought about.
-
Painful truth - women feel intimidated by strange males regardless of how those males 'id'. We need our own space.
