    I'm sorry if some of you have trouble following the broad range of topics that I deem noteworthy, interesting or alarming. I can discuss many topics in depth because I've worked in several different trades prior to oil. If all you want is oil, then follow my day job instead. Thx.

    I envy those who have the umph to do this daily, but for my part I just looked for the absolute worst performers over many years and waited for a ridiculous rock-bottom after studying the potential in their revenue and turnaround. Did that twice now this past year. Results show.

    I gave up small-change trading after surgery last April because I'm halfway through my career and I don't have the time, energy or nerves for it anymore. Instead, I invested part of my retirement plan in beaten-down bottom-of-the-barrel stocks nobody cared about until recently.

    There's usually a good parallel to draw between US ISM for Manufacturing along with US Distillate inventory, however given that US refineries are now in maintenance season (less refining), they will be clearing those distillate inventories a lot faster no matter how ISM is doing.

    🇺🇸🧮 Big ole dirty beat in ISM High degree of risk that this optimism walks straight into the brick wall that is China's crisis which has brought the country to it's knees and looks likely to create a majeure situation for the agreed Phase 1 purchases.

    I think it’s too soon to talk about impact on ’s crude oil demand. One thing to talk about product consumption, but another to talk about crude intake. It was New Years holiday just now. Even the graph shows a tall high mid-month followed by another deeper low at end.

    Among the many barrels of oil and condies that went into this report, you’ll find the blood, sweat and tears that were shed in tracking exports out of Iran and Venezuela. Don’t be surprised if others report only 100-200Kbpd out of Iran.
