God forbid someone make a joke....Freedom of expression in the modern public square should not be infringed. These are monopolies and should be broken up and/or be subject to the 1st amendment.

So the joke was the stereotype?!? I’d like to think that comedy, while objective, has evolved. It’s the reason why so many people find black face so tasteless. I guess not everyone is there yet. Oh well.

I totally agree. Downey’s blackface performance was hilarious because it was used ironically. He was bashed for it throughout the whole film by another black character. That nuance made it hilarious. Where is the nuance or layers in what Crowder was doing?

You remember The Office? Now that was a funny show. Michael Scott did a lot of racist and tasteless jokes but the fact that he was portrayed and seen by the other characters as unfunny and cringe was the beauty of it. Crowder is Michael Scott. Just... Michael....Scott
