Who decided that using Olde English (“Just Say Nay”) in an anti-drinking ad campaign targeting the parents of teenagers was a good idea?! So Anglocentric/old school and weird! 🤔 #justsaynay
Only 6 months since I met Loretta and Tina in person - here we were back at Alice Anderson HQ to mark the next steps in our quest to break the #bronzeceiling with fundraising for a statue for Alice in 2023.

I’m thrilled @Boroondara is recognising Alice Anderson with a plaque near her old Kew Garage! I approached Council back in April 2021, with Alice’s biographer Loretta Smith’s support. Here we are with Tina Russo who’s since done more research into the amazing Alice! twitter.com/SamLovrich/sta…

#lawtwitter #lawawards From a learning perspective, I would love to see more examples of award winning work in the legal innovation space. I was reading a LinkedIn post about a multiple award winning in-house initiative - how good it would be to actually see it

My deepest condolences to you on the profound loss of your loving mum. I’m sorry that in your grief you’re also having to worry about paying for her funeral and having to find another apartment - I’ve donated a small amount and hope others can too ❤️❤️

You’d have to be living under a rock to miss the impact women are having in legal tech. Let’s launch a digital publication covering them, their companies, their organizations and their products/solutions - and do so with portal technology. Read on.

A historical marker recognising Alice Anderson has been installed! Fantastic to finally have permanent acknowledgment of Alice’s place in Australia’s history and hoping this is the first step towards getting a statue for Alice.

So excited that we are writing the ‘next chapter’ in Alice Anderson’s significant legacy as Australia’s first female mechanic and owner of an all-women’s garage. Here we are after our meeting with Trinity Grammar today. twitter.com/SamLovrich/sta…

This podcast reinforces the power of being nice, strong and true to your values in your life and work - the importance of speaking up, building trusting and respectful relationships at work and not being a doormat for other’s egos. #remarkablepeople

A good interview about proactive legal information design using an example of a standard unfriendly procurement contract to a more culturally sensitive user guide that invites indigenous companies to bid for work instead of repelling and alienating.

That’s fantastic! We’d love to see permanent recognition by way of a statue of Alice Anderson - Australia’s first female mechanic (1897 - 1926), trailblazer, entrepreneur, inventor whose purpose-built, female-funded all-women’s garage was recently re-discovered in Kew.
