Throughout COVID, app-based workers risked exposure to keep us safe & fed. By illegally misclassifying workers, companies deprive them of basic protections: minimum wage, sick leave & overtime. To protect workers & enforce state law, we filed a civil action against Doordash.https://twitter.com/nytimes/status/1415758092319567877 …

Gig workers, including food deliverers, risked their lives during the pandemic to help New York function even as many residents stayed at home. Many workers said they are left too vulnerable to the coronavirus and have not been fairly compensated. https://nyti.ms/3hHoz3X

So it only matters that they risked their lives during Covid, this is the basis of your lawsuit? Is Doordash breaking the law or not? Is this a violation of your job duties?

Are we a country of laws or a country of men? If corporations break the law they should be prosecuted. The DA is not saying that, in fact he is trying to be the decider.

We are a country of elites who run the show and get up in arms when even the slightest institutional change effects their interests. Please… a country of laws😂😂😂😂

No country or organization is perfect except for God. Human nature will not change as the founders claimed. The great experiment goes on and yes, this is the City on the Hill.
