Yet another example of how you’re just confirming your own biases, San. The Twitter account Baris Weiss discusses in the article was a fake Antifa account. And she’s been taken to task over how shoddy her reporting was for it. But go ahead and pretend you’re Rational

The Twitter account discussed in the article may have been fake (The post was edited to reflect as much, so I'm wondering if you even actually read the article or just reactions to it), but that doesn't detract much from the overall sentiment that Weiss is expressing.
-
The sentiment she expressed in the article is wrong. We have real fascists in the country again. They’re the Richard Spencers, the Milo’s, etc. But you’d rather say the Left is the problem because college kids use their right to free speech to protest right-wingers.

If you’re more focused on not limping in too many people into the category of being a Nazi than you are with the actual return of Nazis, then you aren’t a serious political commentator.

Or what about the fact that Steve Bannon and Milo *both* we’re part of Breitbart. And that they have ties to the Mercer family, which happens to be the same family that bankrolls Richard Spencer.

The strategy of calling "fascists" those who disagree with lack of democracy and, or debate, is nothing new: it was massively used by Leninists, Stalinists and Maoists, for most of the Twentieth Century. Truly, intellectual fascists are just one kind: they hurl insults, not ideas

Are there any actual skeptics left? This article is based on a satirical Twitter account.
-
So that satirical Twitter account that showed up to her speech and shouted her down? That's satirical Twitter account that set of smoke bombs and assaulted the Sargon engagement? That satirical Twitter account that broke windows at the Jordan Peterson event? Yeah... No sceptics

A welcome surprise from the NY Times. Good article.
-
The Times can, and do, put out different opinions. Some articles reenforce the insanity from the left, some point out that it is in fact insanity. I've yet to regret my subscription.
