There is evidence that becoming skilled at Parkour (the name of the sport) changes how you perceive your physical environment in absolute terms. Fascinating! e.g. "When Walls are No Longer Obstacles: Perception of Wall Height in Parkour" https://docs.lib.purdue.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1056&context=psychpubs …

"radicalized" mmm like the explorers and adventurers of old? Or Astronauts? Or test pilots? Human energy will always find an outlet. I'm a bit disappointed in your comment

Ok that's on me

If they think they are immortal, they will have a rude awakening when one of their freinds miscalculates. What really irks me is, it is one thing to disregard your own saftey, quite another to disregard the saftey of others, the people below!

I don't think you understand what these guys are doing. They do this for years on end to perfect the art of free running/parkour. You may think they just woke up and decided to do this one day. These guys practice hard and make this seem easy.https://youtu.be/QH09YCtpKaw

Not only was this edited, but was also choreographed
-
Definitely choreographed but impressive nonetheless. In fact maybe even more impressive for being choreographed because how does one even go about doing that without dying on the first attempt.
-
Or the second!

Self-radicalizing sounds in that same fearful domain as "self-identifying."

you can add self diagnosing to that list.

This makes me think of solo rock climbers that end up as a stain at the bottom of a cliff, because of an unforeseen wasp in a crevice, or whatever, but then the inevitable statement from the friends or widow (with child) in which we are told “He died doing what he loved most”
