It was funny though predictable to hear in what manner Preet would proceed down the mind-reading trail: "I hate to play armchair psychologist but...." And for Sam to opine on the dangers of Russian meddling in our affairs as if it was a new thing in 2016! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4kHiUAjTvQ …pic.twitter.com/OExHOklZJc
-
@lieberman_jason@ScottAdamsSays The focus of ideological subversion efforts during the past FIFTY YEARS has been to kindle and support the postmodern nonsense that has become the soft-headed thinking in our humanities departments and the identity politics of the modern left. -
Sam's favorite high horse: "Why do so few people care about Donald Trump's lies?" Preet suggests that Donald Trump "secretly desires" to be an autocrat. EVERY president in history feels constrained by our checks and balances and wishes to go beyond them. It's why we have them.
-
After opining on the importance of facts-based discussion, Sam asks "I know you're not part of the Mueller investigation but if you HAD TO GUESS, what do you think is TRUE about Trump's connection to Russia?" Preet just laughed and said he was loathe to speculate...sorry Sam.
-
...but then of course, Preet went on to speculate anyway. This was both interesting and comical to listen to. It was like two best girlfriends who got together to gossip about the new girl in class. Highly biased.
-
Still, Preet shows himself to be a man who’s ability to think and reason has not been unhinged by Trump Derangement Syndrome. He can clearly see another side of the argument even though he may disagree. Unlike Sam, Preet isn’t in a continuous state of mystification about Trump.
-
Preet: Donald Trump touched on something real, he got a few things right: 1) There is a swamp, 2) There are a lot of forgotten people, and 3) The system is rigged. Sam's derangement makes him unable to see the full picture in this political drama. I wish he would stick to AI.

"...through an unbiased lens. Partisanship aside.." and proceeds to hyper partisan TDS hallucination.... The lack of self awareness is astonishing. (I am not sure if I can make it to the end of this mental institution level drivel).

More Trump bashing. This sort of ‘bizzarerie’ is indicative of a deep, painful obsession, not available to the balm of reason.

Make an argument
-
I just did. The concerns about Trump are mostly aesthetic, and based on petit bourgeois concerns which have little to with reality.
-
No, the concerns about Trump are not simply a matter of aesthetics. The man is an egomaniacal idiot and is largely unqualified for the diversely challenging task of running the world's most powerful country. All of that on top of being bigoted, narrow-minded, and foul-mouthed.
-
He is on the right side on most political questions. He is clearly no idiot, you don’t get to be President by being a fool. As to egotism, the majority of politicians are egoists, with Hilary Clinton being a monstrosity of self adoration.
-
Name one political question that he is on the right side of. Never said that any other politicians were less guilty of being egotistical. I particularly loathe the Clintons too, but I don't think they would sacrifice the integrity of our democratic process for their own benefit.
-
Also, you're quite mistaken in asserting that "you don't get to be President by being a fool." Look at son. Bush, who showed a lack of intelligence about a variety of issues but was savvy enough to beat Gore. Winning elections does not translate into being a great president.
-
Take JFK, who had countless extramarital affairs, but who was arguably US's best orator and foreign policy guy. Take LBJ, who was consummate asshole and even whipped his dick out in meetings, but was US's best negotiator. They were good when it counted. Trump isn't good at all.
