No - military force must work in sync with diplomacy. For 16 years we have suffered in our efforts to stabilize Iraq and Afghanistan because DOS is understaffed and underfunded. This efficiency effort only makes matters worse - limits our options.

What if that acclaimed world leadership you refer to was never a reality, but a way to exercise force when necessary? Could it be diplomacy was a tool to aid the flow of resources toward mindless materialism? @ZeitgeistFilmhttps://youtu.be/Qk1i7UGBz1Q

Mhm. It's pure coincidence that we've had the longest sustained period of progress in human history.

That progress is extreme wealth at the expense of the majority of humans. America is a selfish nation who is raping resources. We hoard technology and then sell it, rather than applying technology to the betterment of all.pic.twitter.com/wqRhWmmGa2

You're so lost. 1 billion humans have escaped abject poverty over the past decade. Modern economics have improved standards of living for more humans than any other period in history.

How the UN measure works. People making $1.90 a day/below are deemed in absolute poverty. Once they make $1.91, suddenly they are "out of poverty! First, its stupid. 2nd, the real measure is about $4-5 a day based on lifespan. In this = a billion added to poverty in past decades.

Exactly, they aren't out of poverty, meaning the UN measure doesn't say much.

How has US diplomacy performed in the last 20 years? How could it have been better? Was it our senior diplomats or continuing inconsistency from different administrations.
