How useful is that?
Very useful on the 405 where traffic speeds can reach 37 mph
There are faster production cars. Bugatti Veyron supersport and the agera RS
Nope - Bugatti Veyron does 0 to 60 in a sluggish 2.4 seconds.
Koenigsegg Agera R did 277mph recently, Tesla is not even close to fastest car.
When are you going to address the lies of Maajid Nawaz?
But it can't sustain anywhere near those speeds, which is why the Model S has such a slow lap time on the Nurburgring. Box vans have faster times.
It ultimately becomes a matter of what you want most in a car. For basically all drivers, amazing acceleration has far more application that maintaining speeds over 200 mph.
I suppose, but any sports car comparison is still ignoring how poorly a car that heavy handles.
I would assume the power to weight doesn’t get close to something made by Koenigsegg, but the weight is low to the ground and the vehicle price is likely a fraction of any competitive supercar.
The position of the weight doesn't negate the laws of physics. A much cheaper 3 series BMW handles remarkably better.
