The BIG groups all treat the philosophy of nonviolence as naive
-
Ironically only the very strong can embrace the philosophy of non violence Any bully can be violent.Bullys of my school days were idiotic

But ignoring the cycle of violence begetting violence in favor of cultural fingerpointing is the forte of people like

Just because two extremes are equally upsetting to elites, doesnt mean those extremes are equal.

Extremism only happens in extreme environments and takes a backseat in an affluent society
-
What society is more affluent than Western Europe?
-
So these extremists are white anglo saxon europeans? Thought they were muslims with generations of families that lived in war-torn countries

Which extremists...the ulster unionists? The I.R.A, Etta....

Indeed, it is really only Islam that doesn't play ball with multiculturalism !
-
Islam crosses cultures. Sadly I feel the need to point out I'm not an apologist for any religion...I'm an atheist. Just pointing out a fact
-
Sticking up for Muslims while criticizing Islam is an annoyingly tricky thing to do. But like, it shouldn't be?
-
Because if you defend it you are called a terrorist by the right and if you ridicule it you are called an islamaphobe by the left. Lol
-
True of the right but not the left, they are just reactionary dopes who think they are left but really as Sam says tolerance if hate is bad
-
Both sides make the conversation hard. The knee-jerk reaction by the theft to call ppl bigots doesn't help. Neither does being a bigot.
-
Not to say that all people on the right are bigots. But generally speaking, you'll find actual Islamaphobia deep in the far right, not left.
