          What about the complicating factor that moves in chess are committal, e.g. pawns, once advanced, can't move backwards, pieces exchanged can't reenter the game, etc.? There's no hitting the reset button in chess.

          Moving a limb vs moving a rook are two very different things.The analogy doesnt fit. You cant just say one is more complicated
