It’s like you can’t even consider a position you don’t already agree with. You know what’s true and those who disagree with you are just dumb, crazy, or operating in bad faith. No matter how smart you are, you can be misled and/or just plain wrong.

It is important to discuss vaccine risks publicly, since they are being given to children and to the previously infected. Both of these group have extremely low risk from covid. It should also be considered to use another vaccine for some lower-risk groups (eg Novavax).

Appreciate that you went harder on Bret this time, last time you didn't (but your guest did). What BW is doing to the country is unforgivable. Also agree that not wearing seat belts and not getting the vaccine harm others. It's selfish. Nurses and doctors are TIRED.

Thanks for your clarity of thought Sam. I get my first jab of Pfizer tomorrow and I can’t wait. 👍🏻 Here in Sydney the Delta variant has caused a lockdown, and the NSW Premier (Gladys) has indicated that the only way out of this situation is a vaccination rate greater than 80%.

I am shocked by this podcast. It is an insult to authentic sense making and the pursuit of constructive dialogue that Sam once championed. He has now declared that he knows best and that public conversations with his “friends” on topics he may disagree are potentially dangerous.
