A little housekeeping is in order.

I knew this pangburn kid looked like a shiester the minute I seen him.

This seems fair to me. And I have a big forehead.

You have way way too much time on your hands.

If you have a problem with Pangburn then you should work that out with him directly. You should not have backed out of the Day of Reflection and made it the problem of those who paid to see you.
-
Wouldn't the alleged failure to respond to emails suggest that he's been unsuccessful in trying to "work that out with him directly"?
-
If Pangburn isn't responding then refuse to work with him after fulfilling existing commitments or pursue legal action, assuming Sam has standing. My point is that it shouldn't become the fans' problem.
-
If
@ThePangburn isn't following through with his commitments to Sam or Sam's fans then why is Sam obligated to continue working with Travis? -
I'm concerned about Sam's obligation to us fans who paid to see him, and not Sam's obligation to Pangburn. I think he should follow through with his commitment as a gesture to us, despite the sour relationship he may have with Pangburn.
-
This is never the right approach for an event with multiple talents/performers. It only pits invited speakers against one another. Plus, two others speakers pulled out ahead of Sam. The entire event should be cancelled, and refunds provided to all. This isn’t Sam’s fight/burden.

Podcast episode when? "Okayyy. Today I'm gonna be speaking with Travis Pangburn. Travis is an amateur wrestling commentator who's stumbled his way into the philosophy business..."

Oh, sh*t.

I have no dog in this fight, and it may be that some popular authors demand exhorbitant fees. But promoters should pay the agreed upon fees. Harris seems decent, if it was just him withdrawing/boycotting Pangburn events maybe I'd sympathize with Pangburn...
